About this property
Welcome to a tranquil Mosman Bay apartment, a spacious split-level Art Deco home that blends 1920s charm with modern comfort. Set within a boutique building of only six apartments, it feels bright and open throughout thanks to high ceilings, polished timber floors and generous proportions. Ducted air conditioning keeps every room comfortable year-round, making the space ideal for relaxing, working or exploring Sydney.
The apartment features two queen bedrooms with plush beds and ample wardrobe space, suitable for both short stays and longer visits. A timber staircase leads to the attic loft, which we’ve set up as a quiet study or reading nook, perfect for remote work or simply retreating with a book. The loft also contains the dryer, complementing the washer on the main level.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, dishwasher, Caesarstone benches and everything you need for home cooking. The bathroom includes a shower-over-bath and internal laundry facilities. Fresh linens, hotel-quality towels and fast Wi-Fi are provided to make your stay comfortable from the moment you arrive. The apartment has its own private gated entrance for easy access, and free street parking is available right outside.
While the apartment doesn’t have direct water views, the shared garden offers a peaceful outdoor setting surrounded by greenery with lovely glimpses of Mosman Bay, a perfect spot for morning coffee or unwinding at the end of the day.
The location is exceptionally convenient. We are just a two-minute walk from Mosman Bay Wharf, where the ferry offers a scenic twenty-minute ride to Circular Quay. Harbourside walking paths are close by, as are Reid Park’s lawns and playground. Local shops and cafés on Avenue Road are an easy walk away, and the historic Mosman Rowers Club is just around the bay for waterfront dining. Taronga Zoo is a short drive or bus ride away, and Balmoral Beach is roughly ten minutes by car.
Most guests find a vehicle unnecessary because the combination of ferry and local buses makes getting around simple, but if you do drive, parking on our quiet street is straightforward.
This home offers a rare mix of character, comfort and convenience. Whether you’re visiting for a holiday, a work trip or a peaceful escape, you’ll enjoy a restful base with excellent access to the best of Sydney. We look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Mosman Bay.
Neighbourhood Guide: Mosman
Mosman is one of Sydney’s most sought-after harbourside suburbs, set on the lower North Shore just a short ferry or drive from the CBD. It’s defined by leafy streets, heritage Federation homes, glittering harbour views, and a village atmosphere that feels worlds away from the city bustle.
Dining & cafes: Military Road is the suburb’s main dining artery, lined with popular spots for all-day brunch, Italian trattorias, modern Australian bistros, wine bars and long-standing local favourites. Balmoral Beach is a destination in its own right – The Bathers’ Pavilion and Public Dining Room offer fine waterfront dining, while casual kiosks and gelato bars line the promenade. Spit Junction and Bridgepoint shopping centre add more cafe and casual dining options for weekday coffees and quick meals.
Transport & access: Mosman is well served by frequent buses along Military Road, with express services reaching the CBD in around 20 minutes via the Harbour Bridge. The 228 loops to Balmoral Beach, and Taronga Zoo Wharf offers a scenic 12-minute ferry ride to Circular Quay – one of the most picturesque commutes in Sydney. Drivers have easy access to the Warringah Freeway and Northern Beaches.
Attractions & things to do: Balmoral Beach is the local jewel – calm, family-friendly waters, sandstone headlands, a historic rotunda and waterside walking paths. Taronga Zoo sits on the eastern edge with sweeping harbour views. Fabulous bush and coastal walks wind through Sydney Harbour National Park, including the Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay trail. Harbour-edge reserves like Georges Heights and Middle Head offer WWII fortifications, picnic spots and panoramic lookouts.
Shopping & daily essentials: Mosman Village and Spit Junction cover everything day to day – independent boutiques, homewares stores, bookshops, florists, wine merchants and specialty food providores. Bridgepoint shopping centre houses a Coles, pharmacy, post office and newsagent. Two weekly farmers-style markets and the Mosman Markets at Mosman Public School on weekends add fresh produce and artisan goods. Medical centres, banks and services are within easy walking distance of most residential streets, making Mosman as practical as it is picturesque.
