Welcome to Chatswood Convenience, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment set high in The Regency at 2A Help Street – a few minutes’ walk from Chatswood station and the Metro, Westfield Chatswood and Chatswood Chase. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opens onto a balcony with wide district views across the lower North Shore.

THE APARTMENT
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms on a single level with lift access, sleeping up to five. The main bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom is set up with three single beds, which makes it an easy fit for a family or a group sharing. There is an internal laundry.

KITCHEN & LAUNDRY
A full kitchen with a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator, plus cooking basics, toaster and a dining table that seats the whole group. The internal laundry has a washing machine, dryer, drying rack and iron, so there is no need to leave the apartment to do a load.

COMFORT & CONNECTIVITY
Reverse-cycle air conditioning serves the apartment, with wifi throughout and a TV in the living room. Bed linen, towels, shower gel and a hair dryer are all provided.

BUILDING FACILITIES
The Regency has a heated outdoor swimming pool set in landscaped communal gardens, lifts to every floor, and a concierge desk in the main lobby that handles key collection at any hour.

PARKING
A car space is included with the apartment.

Neighbourhood Guide: Chatswood

Chatswood is the lower North Shore’s commercial and shopping powerhouse – a high-energy suburb where shiny skyscrapers, a major transport interchange and one of Sydney’s best Asian food scenes meet leafy residential streets and excellent parks. It’s a fantastic base for exploring both the city and the north.

Dining & cafes: Chatswood is a food lover’s paradise, famous for outstanding Asian cuisine. Victoria Avenue, Railway Street and the Chatswood Chase and Westfield food courts offer some of Sydney’s best Japanese ramen, izakaya and sushi, Chinese dumpling houses and yum cha, Korean BBQ and bingsu, Taiwanese bubble tea and desserts, Vietnamese pho, Malaysian, Thai and Indian. Specialty coffee culture thrives too – you’ll find top-tier cafes on every block, and Mandarin Centre has a cult-favourite food hall.

Transport & access: Chatswood is a transport mega-hub. T1 North Shore line trains reach Wynyard in around 15 minutes, and the Sydney Metro brings rapid, frequent services south to Barangaroo and north to the Northern Beaches and Macquarie. Frequent buses serve the Northern Beaches, Macquarie Park, Mosman and the Hills District. Everything is walkable from the station, and an enormous commuter car park makes driving easy too.

Attractions & things to do: The Concourse is Chatswood’s cultural heart – a multi-venue arts centre hosting theatre, concerts and community events. The seasonal open-air cinema at The Concourse is a highlight. Chatswood Oval and nearby parks host weekend sport. Lane Cove National Park is a short drive away for bushwalks and kayaking, and Middle Cove and the Bradleys Head foreshore walks are within easy reach.

Shopping & daily essentials: Chatswood has two major shopping centres back-to-back – Westfield Chatswood and Chatswood Chase – offering major department stores (Myer, David Jones), luxury brands, high street fashion, electronics, groceries and entertainment. Multiple supermarkets (Coles, Woolworths, Harris Farm), pharmacies, medical centres, banks and services are concentrated around the station. It’s one of the easiest suburbs in Sydney for running errands.
